LINDA WELLS

With a background in Interior Design and Display (creating over 40 Show Homes in her career), Linda took 'Time Out' to study Fine Art and Textiles following on with City and Guilds in Creative Embroidery.

After a trip to New Zealand, Linda has taken her love of texture to incorporating Felting within her designs.  Framed artworks and Greetings Cards.

​

With ever an eye for Colour, Linda is using Felting as a media for her Fibre Art Landscapes.

 "It's like painting but using fibres and threads instead".

​

Since moving to Seaford, Linda has taken her inspiration from both the Coast and Countryside.  Using oils, acrylics and mixed media, Linda likes experimenting to create colour, texture and atmosphere within her work.

 

Linda's artwork can be viewed at various Exhibitions throughout East Sussex, including the Crypt Gallery in Seaford.
